Many Adults Live with Dyslexia
Adults with dyslexia will have challenges just like students. If an adult did not receive proper reading instruction in school they may continue to struggle where reading is needed. Many adults will seek creative, hands on jobs or even entrepreneurial endeavors. Many adults don't have a diagnosis of dyslexia until their own child struggles to read and is diagnosed. It is not unusual for adults with dyslexia to not read books until they are in their 30's like "The Fonz" Henry Winkler or Jamie Oliver. Adults with dyslexia are protected by law under provisions in ADA.
